This is Kim. She is a good friend of the family, and one of my favorite models. She is always a pleasure to work with. The fact that she is very photogenic does not hurt either.
The main reason for showing this particular photo today, is that it represents two of my favorite types of photography. First, I love pictures of people. I particularly like portraits. The second is my love of b&w photography. This picture, like most of my work, was shot on film. Developed by me, and originally printed by me in my own darkroom. Now for purposes of this blog I have scanned the original negative to my computer so that it can be viewed.
I will in the future show much more of my film work along with my newer digital work. (Frankly I'm still in the learning process of digital, but I continue on bravely.) lol

Wow!!! My first blog. Here is one of my all time favorite photos. My daughter Tiffany, my grandaughter Hannah, and the most important person in their lives, Jeremy. If you can't tell, it's there wedding day. It was beautiful.
